1 Quart Pyrex Dish w/ Lid in the "Willow" pattern. A rare lovely blue floral folk-like pattern known also known as "Blue Floral". Wow! Perfect for the seasoned Pyrex collector, or even if you are just starting out! If you enjoy beautiful folk floral design on a barely used pyrex bowl and lid, you will really enjoy this lovey.

This opal-ware one quart Cinderella Casserole (473) was released in 1970 and had a dark blue and light blue design meant to reflect the “blue onion” motif that first appeared on Meissen china in the early 18th century. The blue onion design, copied subsequently by many other china companies, is thought to be an imitation of a Ming dynasty pattern of flowers and fruit. The European version, however, came to more closely resemble the onion from which it derives its name.

The Pyrex Willow casserole was discontinued in 1971. This fun floral pattern is quite unique and not many were in distribution since Pyrex discontinued only after 1 year.

This listing is for both the dish & lid. No flaws to note.

7.9” diameter.
