Meet Dorothy. She is an antique shoulder head, produced between the 1860's-1940's, made in Germany by the Hertwig Company Porcelain Factory for Butler Bros of NY. These dolls are often called "Pet Name" china heads as their names are painted on the front of their shoulder plate in gold. Dorothy hangs from 2 gold chains at 15” long and stands 2.5”w x 3.25”h.
